JULY 1 | WEDNESDAY | 5-6 PM (PDT)
Happy Hour with Marissa
Please join us online for the 3nd installment of our 1st & 3rd Wednesday Happy Hour series with featured artist Marissa Rae Niederhauser, currently part of our Alembic Artist Program. She will present “An Unkindness of Ravens” a dance and text piece looking at class differences as expressed in pandemic times. We will also share a link to a companion piece, a 5-min. film titled “Heal” which you are invited to watch later, and which, as the title suggests, is about the magical process of healing.

RSVP by 3pm July 1
in order to get the Zoom link!

Sliding Scale donations: $0-$30
Venmo: PWNWpdx
Paypal: info@pwnw-pdx.org
Checks: PWNW | 4625 SE 67th Ave. | Portland, OR 97206

Proceeds will be split between the artist and El Programa Hispano’s Proyecto UNICA, which serves survivors of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking.

At the top of the hour, we’ll have a drink demo for sangrita (no, NOT sangria), a a bright, tart, spicy fruit drink to accompany sips of straight Tequila—or to drink by itself if you don’t want the alcohol. The recipe I’m using calls for the classical pomegranate juice, but there are also versions based on tomato.

After Marissa’s presentation + small and large group chat, you’ll have a chance to win a T-shirt by playing a game of PWNW-themed bingo!
