Coming Up for Air by playwright Nancy Wilson, is a non-linear exploration following one woman’s search for a diagnosis about her mental health challenges set over the time-period of 40 years. Talented local artists Claire E. Aldridge, Ariel Puls and Alyson Ayn Osborn portray the central character at ages 20, 40, and 60 years old.
The impressive cast also includes Betty Moyer and David Heath, all under the experienced and dynamic direction of Stephanie Mulligan.
It is a timely play relevant to all audiences, including professionals in the mental health field, those who know someone with mental health issues, or people who are currently experiencing confusion about their behavioral health or diagnosis.
The playwright, Nancy Wilson, worked for years in Portland as an actor, teacher and company member. She is passionate about the play, which is based on experience, research and interviews.
