I’ll be performing live modular electronics, with a focus on sampled sounds modulated and accompanied by the voice. I’ve been influenced by the hypnotic fringes of minimal and dub techno, working with repetition through unpredictable systems and improvisational interaction.

cat ross (alias, soth seier) is a researcher, creative technologist, and performing artist whose practice is centered in social and environmental justice as they relate to burgeoning technologies. sothseier.com
Megan Mckissack is a creative technologist working and prototyping with live visuals, projection, creative coding, and other emerging technologies.
____ is a sound project composed by cat ross as output from their collaboration(s) with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD). ____ employs sonification as a means to communicate multi-dimensional, complex data sets sourced along the Pacific Coast at the intersection of natural resource depletion, dwindling fish populations, warming oceans, seafood toxicity, social and environmental injustice, and labor dynamics within globalized late-stage capitalism. This work is dedicated to frontline communities and passionate defenders of what is most precious, water. More about this project

Anthony J. Stillabower
Some of my music has been described as “Nancarrow meets Zappa”, but that’s probably not true anymore. A more recent anecdote described what I do as “John Zorn meets The Jetsons” — I was not upset by this development. Since then, it has been suggested that I sound like a “sort of Autechre meets Arvo Pärt.” Obviously, I have no idea what I am doing.
Currently, I am being paid as a researcher. No, that’s not a joke.
