Doors 7 pm, show 7:30 pm
Does it feel like your life and/or your jump shot are coming up short?
Well then, it’s time to attend a practice with Coach Clem—basketball coach turned unlicensed group therapist. You bring your hopes, dreams, hurdles, and challenges. He’ll bring over 20 years of basketball prowess and almost a full year of fully licensed therapy attendance (at his daughter’s behest).
Full Court Progress is a fully improvised and highly interactive show. Coach Clem (Eric Simons—Broke Gravy, Mosaic Improv, That Got Weird) will take you and the rest of our team through a one hour practice that mixes basketball technique with therapy speak. The coach is fake, but the conversation is real and genuine.
Come and get silly, yet sincere advice on whatever seems to be keeping you from your goals (or field goals).
Disclaimer: This show encourages, but doesn’t require full participation. Nor does it require athletic ability or knowledge of basketball. Just an open heart and belly for laughing.
Full Court Progress is funded in part by the Regional Arts & Culture Council and the Office of Arts & Culture.
