SEARCH AND DESTROY (S.A.D.)
October 30
Friday
Doors 7:30pm | Show 8:00pm
SEARCH AND DESTROY (S.A.D.) was partly inspired by late-night television talk shows & variety hours and
follows a similar format: an eye-catching opening number, a charming Emcee willing to play the fool, and a shared evening of dance, music, film, comedy, and conversations/interviews, all loosely tied to a theme of the night. The show ends with a dance party where the audience is invited to join in on the stage.
In this episode of SEARCH AND DESTROY, the cast celebrates the season with a hybrid show slash party—it’s a SHARTY! The Spirit of Halloween takes hold of the night as cast and audience become world builders, working together to decide the course of events through games of choice, chance, and exchange. Costumes are encouraged (though not required) for all who attend, and those that are willing to cross the threshold will walk away with a treasure trove of treats—so long as you can survive the tricks!
This will be a recurring event at Performance Works NW, every last Friday of the month. Save the date for the next installment on November 27!
