June 11 | Aaron Finbloom | 18,250 Questions

18,250 Questions is a durational performance by Aaron Finbloom.
It begins June 1, 2024 at 6am and ends approximately 21 hours later.

Between June 19th 2016 and June 18th 2017 I underwent a practice of asking myself (and writing down) 50 questions every day. The rules for this practice were: 1) in one sitting, each day, ask 50 questions 2) try to feel into your questions 3) do not mention the name of anyone you know 4) do not repeat a question within a given day. This procedure generated 18,250 questions, after which I read each question aloud in chronological order, until completion which took approximately 21 hours. This initial performance of 18,250 Questions took place in Montreal 2017.

The same 18,250 will be re-read and re-performed for the second iteration, honoring the 7th anniversary of the performance in June of 2024. The original 2017 text will be re-printed and read aloud for a duration of roughly 21 hours. A limited number of copies of the text will be available for purchase during the performance.
