Lisa Radon: “I write about contemporary art and design. I’m the founding editor of ultra (ultrapdx.com) where we’ve been writing about design, art, dance, and performance in Portland since 2005. Former associate editor at that late, great Portland Spaces, I write the Culturephile blog covering Portland arts and culture. I’ve contributed to a number of publications including Portland Monthly, Surface Design Journal, SHIFT (Japan), FLAUNT (LA), Hyperallergic (NY), the Portland Tribune, and The Willamette Week. Recent catalog essays include those for The M.O.S.T. Box Set: Remixed at Autzen Gallery and The Quadratic Logogram of Almost Everything at Half/Dozen.
“SHUFFLE: 8 x 8 is a collaborative writing project I engaged in with Tim DuRoche in late 2009, and I’m preparing for OPEN, a collaborative writing project for the upcoming Open Engagement conference at PSU in May 2010.
“I’ve been writing/editing websites since mid-90s and am currently preparing to edit the website for the new Portland Design Exchange. I also take for- and non-profit clients, writing PR and marketing copy for the likes of Bruce Carey Restaurants and the Museum of Contemporary Craft, among many others.”
