Dina Maccabee is a violist/vocalist/songwriter originally from the Bay Area. In her live solo performances, lush looped strings support melodic and often tender songs, while electronic processes reveal unexpected patterns and pulses.http://www.dinamaccabee.com
Jacob Mitas is a violist and composer from Portland, OR. While at Bard college he studied composition with Joan Tower who convinced him to switch from violin to viola. After graduating college, he played viola with rock and folk bands in NYC and Philadelphia while studying violin repair and bow making. Today, back in Portland, Jacob plays in a duo with percussionist Loren Chasse called Latourel latourel.bandcamp.com and operates a small violin shop called Mitas Bows.
stephanie lavon trotter loops and layers her voice through electro-acoustic open scores and improvisation, creating expansive, fantastical and grotesque sonic paintings. www.stephanielavontrotter.com
