Sept. 21 || Portland Book Launch of Beauty is Experience

Over the course of three years, writer/editor Emmaly Wiederholt and photographer Gregory Bartning teamed up to interview and photograph dancers over 50. The finished book, “Beauty is Experience: Dancing 50 and Beyond,” includes over 50 interviews with dancers ranging in age from 50 to 95, many from Portland!

PWNW presents a screening of jin camou & Julia Calabrese’s Episode III, with live original music by Mary Sutton. Following the screening there will be an accompanying dance, performed by camou and Linda Austin, as well as a short duo by Ayako Kataoka and Kathleen Hong.
